This year I’ve committed myself to providing a better level of constituent services and core city services. I’ve committed myself and my staff to do more with less. I am proud this council worked to pass a balanced budget. In doing so, we’ve reinstalled pivotal programs like neighborhood traffic and speed humps, continue to recruit [...]
Church is where I go to renew my spirit, to regain my sense of self and to be reminded of my purpose in this busy world. As a devoted member of the Fountain of Praise Church, I enjoy worshiping with a congregation that I consider family. Led by Pastor Remus E. Wright, our church is [...]

Welcome!
This past fiscal year has awakened us to a economic climate that requires all of your elected officials, including myself, to be watchful, mindful, and accountable with your tax dollars. I’ve committed myself to providing a better level of constituent services and core city services. I’ve committed myself and staff to do more with less.
Additionally, during the budgetary process, I sought to not only serve my constituents, but to advocate for the City of Houston employees and retirees. There are segments of our city’s population that work tirelessly to perform the duties that are essential to the success of Houston. There are many who’ve dedicated working 30,40, and 50 years as service employees. Our retirees continue to deserve the core benefits they’ve earned after giving hard working careers to the City of Houston.
